Welcome to ANIMAL Physiotherapy Services! This is our freshly updated site and we have tried to put as much information as possible on this site to help you learn more about the exciting new field of Animal Physiotherapy, so please feel welcome to look around - come back regularly to check our new Hall of Fame, Dogs NSW articles and Introductory Packs!
Our MissionAt ANIMAL Physiotherapy Services, we pride ourselves on being one of the world leaders in qualified Animal Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on research projects to ensure our treatments are science-based and state-of-the-art. For several years now, we have been the service of choice for many Veterinarians throughout New South Wales, and we aim to continue to improve our level of service to our referring Veterinarians, our clients and our patients in the coming 6 months by providing even more effective and innovative treatments and responding promptly to demand for new products and services. We also work hard to educate pet health professionals throughout the world via scientific articles, book publications and practical courses - please enquire if you'd like further information.
Contact InformationWe apologise that our staff and associates are often unable to answer the phone because they are treating patients or otherwise out of the office (Helen and Sonya both have young babies, for example). NEW CLIENTS: Even if your Vet has organised your pet's physiotherapy appointment directly, please contact Helen either via the Blue Mountains number or email (email is preferable) to ensure that all relevant information is brought to the first appointment. We need to know if your pet has any food allergies, behavioural issues, and any other concerns you may have, so that Helen can prepare properly for your appointment. (Make sure you tell her your pet's name, too - a happy snap of your friendly feline or crazy canine is always much appreciated, too, as it helps put a face to the story when preparing!) EXISTING CLIENTS: In an emergency, please contact the venue you normally visit if you are unable to reach Helen at the Blue Mountains number or via email. In an extreme emergency, both the Animal Referral Hospital (9758 8666) and North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (9436 1213) are open 24 hours if you are unable to reach your regular Vet out of hours. Otherwise, please leave a message for Helen or email her (email is preferable) and as long as you leave your contact details clearly, Helen will get back to you as quickly as possible.
