Where we hope you will find everything you need to get your pet on the road to recovery as quickly as possible. Please look around and make sure you look at the FAQs if you have further questions - or feel welcome to email us!
At ANIMAL Physiotherapy Services, we pride ourselves on being one of the world leaders in qualified Animal Physiotherapy, with an emphasis on research projects to ensure our treatments are science-based and state-of-the-art. For several years now, we have been the service of choice for many Veterinarians throughout New South Wales, and we aim to continue to improve our level of service to our referring Veterinarians, our clients and our patients in the coming 6 months by providing even more effective and innovative treatments and responding promptly to demand for new products and services. We also work hard to educate pet health professionals throughout the world via scientific articles, book publications and practical courses - please enquire if you'd like further information.

We look forward to hearing from you so that you can explain your needs and concerns so that we can start your pet on the road to recovery as soon as possible. We apologise, however, that our staff and associates are often unable to answer the phone because they are treating patients or otherwise out of the office (Helen has three small children and drives in from the Blue Mountains to treat at hospitals, for example, so the phone can be unanswered for many hours!) so please always try emailing first, or see below for appropriate action in an emergency.
NEW CLIENTS: Even if your Vet has organised your pet's physiotherapy appointment directly, please contact Helen either via the Blue Mountains number or email (email is preferable) to ensure that all relevant information is brought to the first appointment. We need to know if your pet has any food allergies, behavioural issues, and any other concerns you may have, so that Helen can prepare properly for your appointment. (Make sure you tell her your pet's name, too - a happy snap of your friendly feline or crazy canine is always much appreciated, too, as it helps put a face to the story when preparing!) PLEASE format the subject in your email 'ATTN Helen RE (pet's name) the (breed)' so that your email doesn't get caught in the spam filter!!!! For example 'ATTN Helen RE Ally Nicholson the Rottweiler'. If we have not replied within 48 hours, please re-send or phone to  check you're not stuck in the spam folder!
EXISTING CLIENTS: In an emergency, please contact the venue you normally visit if you are unable to reach Helen at the Blue Mountains number or via email. In an extreme emergency, the Animal Referral Hospital (9758 8666), the North Shore Veterinary Specialist Centre (9436 1213) and the Veterinary Specialist Centre (9888 9800) are open 24 hours if you are unable to reach your regular Vet out of hours. Otherwise, please leave a message for Helen or email her (email is preferable) and as long as you leave your contact details clearly, Helen will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Don't live in Sydney? We are pioneering the concept of 'telemedicine' for animal physiotherapy. Although it is best to treat your pet in person, please enquire if you need help and don't live in the Sydney region and we will do our best to help you help your pet.

Whole Body Vibration
Helen uses the Whole Body Vibration machine on a Dachshund recovering from spinal surgery. We find this machine invaluable in helping neurological and orthopaedic patients get back on their feet faster.
